FAQs

What is a tenant?
In Pandium, a tenant is a single customer’s installed and configured copy of an integration, tied to that customer’s own credentials and settings. Each customer–integration combination counts as one tenant, so if 100 customers install the same integration, that’s 100 tenants.

What is an integration?
An integration is a connection between your product and another system (for example, your SaaS app and a CRM, ERP, or ecommerce platform) that exchanges data according to business logic your team has coded. With Pandium, your developers focus on the integration logic, while our platform handles the heavy lifting like authentication, hosting, logging, scheduling, and versioning.

How is Pandium different from other integration platforms?
Pandium is an embedded, code-first integration platform built specifically for B2B SaaS companies that want native, customer-facing integrations. Unlike traditional iPaaS or low-code tools, Pandium gives you full ownership of your integration code, direct access to APIs (no “Pandium version” or wrappers), and infrastructure designed for multi-tenant, production-grade integrations at scale.

Why don’t you charge based on API calls or tasks?
We believe integration pricing should be predictable and tied to value you can actually measure—how many customers are actively using your integrations—not how many behind-the-scenes API calls or tasks get triggered. Usage-based models that bill per task, run, or API call are hard to forecast, especially when you can’t control how often customers trigger an integration, so we price per tenant instead.

Does it cost more to integrate with certain apps or systems?
No. You pay the same price regardless of which apps or systems you connect to. Our connectors are designed to handle authentication and secure connections while giving your developers full access to the underlying APIs, without restricting you to a small set of pre-programmed endpoints. We also don’t charge for connector development. If you don’t see the system you’d like to connect with on our current connector list, just let us know and we can build it in a few days.

What happens if our tenant count changes over time?
Many customers start with a smaller number of tenants and expand as more customers adopt their integrations. If you outgrow your current plan’s tenant numbers, you can work with our team to adjust your plan so pricing stays aligned with active usage, without changing how your integrations are built or deployed. With Pandium, you can run 20 or 20,000 tenants—there’s effectively no ceiling on how many customers can use your integrations.

Is Pandium right if we only need a few integrations?
Yes. Pandium Lite is designed for smaller teams or companies launching a handful of integrations, with a simple monthly starting price and a clear tenant limit. As your integrations gain adoption and you need to support more tenants or add products like the In‑App Marketplace or Integration Code Generator, you can move to Pro without re‑platforming your integrations.

Can we keep using our own code and tools?
Yes. Pandium is intentionally code-first: your team writes integration logic in your preferred language and development workflow, and Pandium provides the infrastructure around it. This gives you the flexibility of in-house integrations plus the reliability and speed of an embedded iPaaS, without forcing you into a no-code builder or proprietary recipes.
